As the founder and principal consultant at LR Human Resources Consulting, I have over 40 years of Human Resources experience working with diverse employee populations, most of which for whom English is a secondary other language (ESOL). As a trilingual HR professional, I was able to leverage my language skills to effectively communicate with non-english speakers, but I learned that language was not the only barrier for these employees that I supported.
These employees required assistance with all manners of life tasks from booking medical appointments to scheduling a parent teacher conference. Although professional coaching/mentoring would provide a huge benefit to them, they were never able to afford anything beyond basic necessities. Most of these individuals were single moms who desperately sought a path to a better economic status for their children’s future. I wanted to bridge this gap by creating a way that people of low financial means could access life changing coaching services at little or no cost.
When I started LR Human Resources Consulting, I realized that the goal of helping organizations succeed in talent management aligned very well with the mission of helping those without financial resources access coaching and mentoring programs. By donating a portion of the profits from LR Human Resources Consulting, you are helping to fund free life coaching sessions for someone who is financially unable to afford it. In this way, every organization that I work with is helping to further our mission to ensure everyone has the opportunity and support to reach their potential and accomplish their goals, regardless of their financial situation.
